Before uploading the content for your new website, please make sure you review the content prep list below.  This will ensure you can complete your upload quickly.

Content Preparation List

Don’t forget you can print this list or download a pdf with the buttons to the right.

Company Information:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Fax Number
  • Address
  • Email
  • Logo
Note:  It is ideal to have a transparent background for your logo. If this is not possible we will use what you have available. Minimum width 300px is preferable.

If you don’t have a logo we can just use your business name.

Social Network Links if Applicable:

Home Page Information:

  • 1 Header Photo: This is the big photo at the top of your website. Minimum width 1400px. See important notes to the right.
  • Header Blurb 1:  Max character limit 30, short and succinct is better.
  • Header Blurb 2: Max character limit 100, short and succinct is better.
  • Hero Blurb 1: Max character limit 100, short and succinct is better.
  • Hero Text: Max character limit 300, short and succinct is bette.
  • Home Page Text: Max character limit 1800.
  • Additional Photos: Max 3 photos, Minimum width 1400px. See important notes to the right.

What is 1400px? This is a measurement that will ensure your image looks good on your page and is not blurry. If you get your images directly off your phone or from unsplash(link below) they will be big enough.

Where can I find photos that I can use on my website?  If you want to look professional, use some professionally shot photos. You can download free professionally shot photos for you website at UnSplash.com. Any photos you get from UnSplash will be big enough (1400px or larger) for your website.

I don’t want to pick out photos:  No problem, we can do this for you. Please note to change photos we bill at our hourly rate.

Services Page Information:

  • 1 Header Photo: This is the big photo at the top of your website. Minimum width 1400px.**This image is not required for this page.
  • Hero Blurb 1: Max character limit 100, short and succinct is better.
  • Hero Text: Max character limit 300, short and succinct is better.
  • Page Text: Max character limit 2000.
  • Additional Photos: Max 3 photos, Minimum width 1400px. A good idea here is to have a photo that represents each service you offer.

About Page Information:

  • Page Text: Max character limit 2000.
  • Additional Photos: Max 3 photos, Minimum width 1400px.

Contact Page Information:

  • 1 Header Photo: This is the big photo at the top of your website. Minimum width 1400px. **This image is not required for this page.
  • Page Text: Max character limit 1000. We recommend you keep it short and sweet for the contact page.
  • Additional Photos: Max 1 photos, Minimum width 1400px.

Blog Page Information:

  • Blog Category: Max character limit 200.
  • Blog Post Title: Max character limit 200.
  • Blog Post Text: Max character limit 3000.
  • Blog Photo: This is the big photo at the top of your website. Minimum width 1400px. We recommend having a photo for each blog post.
  • Additional Photos: Max 2 photos, Minimum width 1400px.

Note: We will get you started with one blog post and category. Once you have access to the site you can create more blog posts and categories. 

Website Domain Provider:

In the next step you can either buy a domain from us along with your website hosting, or if you have already purchased a domain from another provider like GoDaddy you will need to provide access so we can connect it to your new website.

Google & SEO:

Google Analytics is a great way to track visitors on your website. If you already have an account setup we will need the Google UA number, you can find this by logging into your Analytics account. Additionally, if you do not have a Google Analytics account we will provide one for you. 

  • UA: ie: UA-77777777-1

eCommerce Store:

If you are purchasing a package with an eCommerce/Product Selling solution we will need quite a bit of information. Please note that an eCommerce Store requires the eCommerce Hosting Plan and has a cost of $39.95 a month.

If you are not selling products on your new site then you can skip this section.

Store Information:

  • Company Name
  • Company Address: Your tax rate is based on your company address.
  • Company Phone
  • Payment Solution: You can accept payment with Square, Stripe & PayPal.
  • Payment Solution Username
  • Payment Solution Password
  • Shippo Username
  • Shippo Password
  • Product Categories: We will setup a max of 5 to get you started.
  • Email Notification: What email do you want to use to receive store notifications? If no email is specified we will use the free email you create when purchasing hosting.

Individual Product Info for each of the products you intend to sell: 

  • Item Type: Physical, Digital, Event, Service, Donation, Membership, Prepared Food & Beverage
  • Item Title
  • Item Description
  • Item Price
  • Item Image(s): Max 4 photos, Minimum width 1400px. **See important product photo information in the right hand column.
  • Item Category: What category does this item go in?
  • Item Options: Does your item have options such as different sizes and colors? 
  • Item Options for Events: Add different ticket levels such as General Admission or VIP.
  • Item Modifiers: ie. Allow shoppers to customize their food by selecting optional toppings like extra sprinkles or no onions. 
  • Modifiers for Events: If you are selling access to an Event, allow shoppers to modify event tickets with extras like parking passes or special seating.
  • Item Weight: In pounds
  • Digital Downloads: If you are selling a digital download we will need a link to the product. We do not allow uploading of digital products as these can be very large. Please make sure the link you provide works.
  • Tax Exemption: Is the item you are selling going to be taxed? Your store location above is used to calculate US tax rates.

Online Payments: We offer 3 payment solutions in out stores. Most of these services have similar fees of  2.9% of the cost of the item + 30¢ per transaction. If you don’t have an account at one of these providers already, click below to setup an account. We will need this your login information in ordr to setup your store.

Shipping: We use Shippo for our product shipping services. Save up to 90% off rates for USPS, UPS®, DHL Express, and more with the best multi-carrier shipping software for e-commerce businesses.

Click the logo below to signup for an account. We will need your account login information to connect the shipping services to your new store.

Product Photography: Help boost sales with professional product photos. Photos make a BIG difference in how a potential customer responds to your products. Good product photography requires good lighting, clean backgrounds and consistent product image sizes (we recommend square image sizes, but most any size will work as long as ALL images are the same format/shape. ie: 1400px x 1400px, or 10in x 10in.).  See some examples of good and bad photography below:
